Using Steradol
Is Steradol a spot treatment?
Yes. Steradol is a spot stain remover for fresh marks on everyday washable fabrics. Treat the affected area and follow the garment care label.
How do I use the Steradol stain pen?
Blot away any excess first. Press the tip onto the stain to release the formula, then gently dab and rub until the mark lifts. Reapply if needed. For the best result, treat the stain as soon as it happens.
What stains does it remove?
Steradol is a spot stain remover for fresh coffee, tea, red wine, chocolate, ketchup, pasta sauce, fruit juice, make-up and ink stains. Results vary with the stain and fabric. Works on fresh stains. Not suitable for silk, leather or dry-clean-only fabrics. Always test on a hidden area first.
Does it work on old, dried-in stains?
Steradol works best on fresh stains. Older or set-in marks may only lift partially or need repeat treatment, and results cannot be guaranteed once a stain has dried or been through the wash.

Will it damage colours or bleach my clothes?
Steradol is bleach-free, but it may cause a colour change on some fabrics. Always test on a hidden area before use, and remove any excess solution before exposing the item to sunlight.
What is in it, and is it safe on my skin?
Steradol is dermatologically tested, vegan and cruelty-free. Ingredients: water, alcohol, alkyl polyglycoside, tetrasodium EDTA, citric acid and styralyl acetate. It is an eye irritant, so avoid contact with eyes and keep out of reach of children.
Results and aftercare
Do I still need to wash the garment afterwards?
Steradol is a spot stain remover for fresh marks. It does not replace washing. Wash the garment according to its care label when you are able to.
What if the stain does not fully lift?
Results vary with the stain and fabric. Follow the product instructions and garment care label. If the mark remains, wash the garment as its care label allows; avoid heat drying until you have checked the stain.

How big is it, and will it fit in my bag?
Yes. Steradol is a slim, handbag-sized pen made to live in your bag, desk drawer, car or pocket, ready for stain emergencies wherever you are.
Can I take it on a plane?
Each pen contains 9ml. Check your airline and airport rules for liquids and cleaning products before travelling, and follow the product label.
How should I store it, and how long does it last?
Keep the cap on between uses and store at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight. Unopened, the pen has a shelf life of around three years.

How much is delivery and how long does it take?
Free UK delivery on every order. Standard delivery has no minimum spend. We dispatch within 2 working days, and standard delivery normally takes 2 working days after dispatch. Express delivery is optional and costs £3.99. We currently deliver within the UK only.
What is your returns policy?
